The services listed below are provided to enable all visitors to enjoy their time at Upopoy.
Free Wheelchair Rentals
Wheelchairs are available from the Entrance Center and the Rental Items desk. To request one, please speak to a member of staff.
Wheelchair-accessible Elevator
The museum has an elevator designed for use by people in wheelchairs and people with visual impairments.
Park bus
Free transportation around the park’s main facilities (wheelchair accessible). Board the bus from any of the bus stops.
Device for feeling sound in your body
Available from the Cultural Exchange Hall. Enjoy the way each sound translates to vibrations.
Communication Support Apps
Voice-to-text apps can be used in all facilities. Sign language interpreting (using a tablet) is available at the information desk in the Entrance Center. (This service is only in Japanese.)

Service Dogs
Service dogs such as guide dogs and hearing dogs are welcome inside the park and facilities.
Multipurpose Restrooms
The main facilities in the park have multipurpose restrooms with facilities for ostomates.
First-aid Station
Please contact a member of staff if you fall ill during your visit. First-aid stations are available in the museum and at the Rental Items desk.
Accessible Parking
Larger parking spaces are available for visitors with disabilities, older visitors and visitors who are pregnant.
AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
AEDs are installed in each facility.
Other
National Ainu Museum:
Stairless access is available. The facility is equipped with accessibility aids such as braille, an audio guidance system, and flashing lights and audio guidance at the emergency exits. Multipurpose restrooms are equipped with a multipurpose seat.

National Ainu Park:
There is a braille information board on the park map. Tactile paving blocks leading from the pedestrian entrance to the Lakeview Plaza entrance and restrooms have been installed for visitors with visual impairments. The main facilities of the park are equipped with multipurpose restrooms that have a multipurpose seat.
